Dreadlock Removal
Sick of your dreads but don't want to shave your head? There is a solution! I successfully combed out my first set of dreads and was left with beautifully soft hair afterwards. You will not be able to save the entire length of your hair, but you can save at least the top part and have shoulder length hair afterwards.
The process involves cutting each dread shorter, wetting hair and then thoroughly soaking in a high quality conditioner. Start combing straight away whilst the conditioner is still in the wet dreads which makes the combing process much easier and with less breakage. Re-wet and apply more conditioner as necessary. You will notice that your hair gains a few inches in length from the compacted knots being combed out. This process can take quite some time, usually around the same time it takes to create dreads.
